  • ·Trend projections — directional reads on deal-mix, days-on-lot, and PTM position based on 12-month rolling shape
  • ·Inventory-aging pressure index — composite of deal-mix shift, DOL drift, and PTM position shift; correlates with subsequent margin pressure, not a direct GPU measurement

Methodology

Parent-group attribution maps tracked storefronts to a parent dealer entity using name-plus-location matching against the parent-group dataset. Storefront counts reflect distinct tracked listing sources, which can include both physical locations and digital storefronts; the figure may overstate unique physical footprint where a chain operates separate listing feeds per channel. Vehicle-level aggregates deduplicate VINs across the group's storefront footprint. Price-to-Market scoring applies U.S. Patent No. 12,236,477 methodology against comparable in-market vehicles.
